BRUNS brine tanks
To remedy glaze, a large German city purchased 3 brine tanks from BRUNS Umwelttechnik.
In order to bridge the long distance of the gritting vehicles, the tanks are filled at a central brine mixing plant and distributed to urban areas using hook lift vehicles, where the smaller brine spraying vehicles can be refueled via the BRUNS brine tanks.
This concept saves a trips for the gritting vehicles and thus ensures ice-free roads and cycle paths in a shorter time and contributes to CO2 savings.
